This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette Series J800 roadster is a very solid, straight, all-original car ready to be restored. It originally was a red car with white scoops and red interior. The body is very nice and has never been damaged. The grill and most of the trim is off the car. Included is a complete set of NOS and very good trim. The rear bumper and chrome needs to be replated. The glass is good. The removable hardtop rear plastic window has three round vent holes drilled in it. There is a new NOS soft top which has not been installed. One of the spinner hubcaps is missing. The interior is all there. The seat upholstery is not stock. There is a new red interior that comes with the car, which includes dash pad, seat skins and carpet. We have the original Wonderbar radio. The 283 CID V-8 230 HP motor is original and the block number has been checked. The motor has a later intake and carburetor. The motor runs well. The car has a standard 3 speed manual transmission. The brakes are new. The chassis and suspension are in good condition. The odometer reads 83,939 and this is the original mileage.
