This yellow and blue 1956 Chevrolet Series 6500 two ton AAA wrecker tow truck is a low-miles, fully-functional classic off-road recovery vehicle ready to be put to work. Here is a great opportunity to own and operate a classic nostalgic tow truck and also use it in recovery work. The truck is know as "The Beast" and will certainly be a benefit to your towing business as a eye-catching promotional truck. The truck was restored in 2003 and has been stored in a commercial towing shop since then. The truck was bone-dry and rust-free before the restoration. The odometer reads 30,946 and this is the original mileage. It has only been driven 3/10 of a mile since the restoration. This is a very scarce factory FABCO 4X4 commercial truck. The bed is a 1972 Holmes Model 480. The truck has a twin PTO box which powers the Holmes as well as a 20,000 lb. front-mounted winch. The tires are good and everything is fully functional.
