This black and orange 1953 Chevrolet standard cab Thriiftmaster Series 3100 1/2 ton pickup is a very complete project truck ready for restoration. It is a 216 CID straight six OHV motor with 3 speed manual column shift truck. There are repairable dents in all the fenders. The 3rd and 4th grill bars are damaged. The splash panel behind the front bumper is damaged. The running boards are solid and the edges are dented. The back lower rear corners of the cab are rusted. There is a rusted area on the right side below the rear window. The truck has a non-stock, factory-made heavy duty rear bumper. The truck has a scarce side-mounted spare wheel carrier option. The box is in good condition, including the floors and the tailgate is good. It has non-stock refectors on the tailgate. The box has some metal cracks around the rear post holes. The doors are good. The left door glass is gone. The interior is complete. We have a good seat bottom frame. The dash is complete. The floor and battery box bottom have some rusted areas. The left upper interior door panel is missing. There are some extra handles in the glove box. The hood badges are all there. The motor is very complete except the air cleaner is missing. The truck looks like it was running when it was stored but we cannot be sure of the running condition. The chassis is solid, rust-free and in very good condition, except he left rear shackle is spread. The truck is priced well below current values for it's condition.
