The Streamline Gray 1940 Chevrolet Series KA Special Deluxe 4 door sedan with rear suicide doors is a very straight, complete, no-rust Montana plains car ready for a complete restoration. The car has solid and dry western Desert sheet metal. The car has an optional front bumper guard. The car has dents in the back of the right front fender, side of the left quarter, right of right front fender and bottom tail of the right quarter panel. There are small dents in the right lower deck lid. The running board edges and trim are dented. The outside driver mirror is missing. The front license plate bracket is missing. Otherwise, the car is very complete and straight. All the trim is there. The interior is all there. The seat cores are all there. The floors are very solid. The dash and gauges are complete. The radio is in the back seat. The car has an optional glove box door clock, under-seat heater and vacuum smoke dash. It has an extremely scarce steering wheel with turning ring. We have the composite ring handle and it is deteriorated. There is enough there to make a reproduction. The floors are solid. The odometer reads 58,469 and this is the original mileage. The 216 CID OHV inline six 85 HP motor and three speed manual shift transmission are all there. The car was driven to it's previous location 10 years ago.
