This green 1940 Chevrolet COE cab-over-engine is a very solid, straight, original, no-rust, high-and-dry Montana plains truck with a very scarce Deluxe curved headboard stakebed. The left front fender is damaged. The grill has some repairable damage in the lower left corner. The interior is all there except the seat is missing. The floors are solid. The motor and drive train is all there.The truck has an optional two speed rear axle.This excellent 40 Chevy COE is a perfect candidate for a restoration or custom tilt-back car carrier project.
