This green 1938 Chevrolet Model HC 1/2 ton pickup is a very complete, solid truck ready to be restored. There is rust in the left door. Otherwise the sheet metal is solid. The grill is bad. There is no center hood trim. There are no bumpers and there is a home-made bent tow bar in the rear. There are some small dents in the fenders, cab and running boards. The left front fender is damaged and torn. There are welded support straps on the backs of the rear fenders. The right cab roof is dented. There are after-market lights on the top of the cab. The box looks good. The wood box bottom is gone and some of the straps are missing. Some of the post holes are damaged. The tailgate has been reinforced with channel. The seat is missing. There is rust in the inside panel above the driver glass. The gauges and dash are all there. The floors are solid. The battery box cover is gone. The 207 CID OHV inline six cylinder 79 HP motor is all there except the water pump, fan and radiator are missing. The motor is stuck. The 4 speed manual transmission and power train are all there.
