This black 1947 Cadillac Series 61 4 door fastback sedan is a very solid, straight project car ready to be restored. Only 5,160 of these 1947 Series 61 Caddy sedans were made. The sheet metal on this car is dry and rust-free. The top is dented in. The left front fender, door fender extension, and side trim are dented. All the glass is good. The skirts are missing. The front parking light lenses are broken. The grill, bumpers and remainder of trim are good. The brown interior is all there. The dash, including the radio, is complete. The floors are solid. The 346 CID L-head 150 HP V-8 motor and three speed manual column shift transmission are all there. The running condition is unknown but the motor is very complete and nothing is unhooked. This sometimes is a sign that the car was running when it was retired. This B-body fastback 47 Caddy sedan is a very scarce and unusual body style and there are not many of around in this condition.
