This Astro blue 1965 Buick Riviera 2 door hardtop is a very nice, all-original classic car ready to be restored. The car has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. This survivor Riviera has been in dry indoor storage since 1980. It was last driven January 10, 1991 and the odometer reads 82,522 original miles. The original keys are there. There is no Owner's Manual, Protecto-Plate or other documents. Just before being put in storage, due to fading paint, the car received a new paint job in the original factory color. It has only been driven a few miles since then. The car has never been wrecked and the body is excellent. The rockers have no dents or rust and the rest of the body is also rust-free. All the chrome looks good. All the glass is good except the windshield has a star burst chip about 3/4" across just under the center interior mirror. The left headlight clam shell does not close all the way and the linkage needs to be adjusted. The car has five factory Buick five-spoked rims. Three of the center caps are missing. The white bucket seat interior is in good condition and needs to be cleaned up. There are a few small surface cracks in the seats near the buttons but nothing is cracked open. The console looks good. The dash and gauges are complete. The dash wood inlays are good but have some minor strains. The dash pad is not cracked and the door panels look good. The original loop carpet is in good condition. Upon careful inspection the floors and trunk bottom are solid and rust-free. There is no undercoating and the sheet metal is bright and solid when viewed from under the car. The door and trunk rubber seals are good. It has the standard base "Wildcat 455" 401 CID 325 HP V-8. Everything under the hood looks original and bone stock. There is a little rust in the bottom of the battery box. The car has not been driven for 20 years so the brake and fuel systems need to be cleaned and serviced before the car is put back into regualr use.
