This Biscay blue 1957 Buick Special Series 40 convertible coupe is a highly-desirable classic project car body, interior and chassis ready to be restored. Only 8,505 were made. This is a started restoration project. This car has very straight, solid, dry Montana sheet metal. The front body clip is off the car. The original front fenders are inside the car. There is a good, straight hood. The C and K Buick letters are missing from the hood. There is a nice grill. All the trim is off the car and are either inside the car or in boxes of parts and trim that come with the car. Some of the trim may have some repairable dents. There also may be some misc. trim pieces missing but we checked and all ther trim unique to the convertible is there. There is no inventory of the trim and parts. The top assembly is all there. The car comes with a new windshield and newly chromed bumpers. The right end of the rear bumper is not chromed yet. The blue and white interior is all there. The dash is out and on the floor. The steering column and steerling whell are out and inside the car. The floor and trunk bottom are solid. The 364 CID V-8 motor, radiator and transmission are gone. The car has a Montana title.
