This white 1953 Buick Roadmaster Model 79R 4 door woody station wagon is ready for a complete restoration. The 53 Roadmaster woody is extremely scarce and only 670 were made. If you are looking for a high-value restoration project, you cannot go wrong with an investment in this car. The body is straight and has little rust. All the trim is there. The front of the hood and trim are dented. There are some small, repairable dents in the body and trim. Most of the exterior wood is there for copying or wood kits are available for this wagon. The pink interior is missing most of the center dash parts and the front seat. The gauges are there. The lower floor pans are rusted and need to be replaced. Most of the upper floor pan is solid. The spare well is rusted. The rear folding seats are all there. The 322 CIF OHV V-8 motor is missing the intake manifold, carburetor, air cleaner, radiator and other misc. parts. The automatic transmission is all there. The chassis is solid and complete. There are a few things missing but all of them are common to 1953 Buick cars and are easy to locate.
