This 1949 Buick Roadmaster Series 70 Model 76C convertible is a buildable body with 1948 Oldsmobile 98 convertible parts car are ready to be restored. Only 8,095 Roadmaster convertibles were made in 1949. All of the convertible specific parts are there to build the car. The Buick body without chassis is solid and rust free. The car was sitting on it's right side and the front fender,door and rear fender are damaged. The right door vent is damaged. There is no headlights, hood, grill or bumpers. These parts are all common to 49 Buick Super or Roadmaster cars and are fairly easy to find. The deck lid and rear lower panel between the bumper and deck lid are damaged. There is a good replacement deck lid. The lower rear panel below the deck lid needs to be replaced and there is a good one on the Olds body. The Buick taillight areas a different than the Olds so the Buick tail light areas need to be swapped into the Olds rear panel. The left front and rear fenders and door are dented. The porthole trim is all there and in storage. There is a good replacement left rear fender. The rockers are good. All of the trim is damaged. The top is all there. All of the windshield trim is in storage. The rear seat is missing. There is no steering wheel, radio or glove box door. The floor is solid. The 1948 Oldsmobile Futuramic 98 convertible has bad floors and is not a restorable candidate. It has a good, solid X-member frame for the Olds. There is no power train or front axles and suspension. The parts that were taken off the Olds are in indoor storage. The Buick is located in Idaho and the Olds is located in Indiana.
